CC regional rankings released today

the ISU men are 10th and the women 11th in the preseason Great Lakes Regional rankings. Like other sports preseason ranking are largely based on performances from the end of the previous year.

Hopefully ISU can move up in the rankings.

The season starts this weekend at the Evansville Mid America Opener. I suspect Louisville, Evansville, Kentucky Weslyan, and ISU will all be there again.

ISU will be looking to win yet ANOTHER MVC title at the end of October.

I'd say Wisconsin and IU are locks to stay in those top two spots, but there could be a lot of shuffling after that as the season unfolds. I'd like to see ISU knock Butler and Purdue down a few pegs right away.

I would hope ISU could move ahead of Purdue and Butler, not sure what Cincinnati has this year? Not sure what Michigan and Michigan State have either?
