I just wrote a quick e-mail to NCAA President Mark Emmert telling him how I felt about each school only getting 550 tickets. Well, I can't say I told him EXACTLY how I felt, because it would have been inappropriate...but you get my drift. I'm going to post his e-mail her so that anyone who cares to do so can write him as well. I think it's ridiculous that they only give each school 550 tickets....GREEDY :censored:!!!

I admire your spunk on this issue but it seems that you are complaining about something the NCAA has been doing forever. The size of the venue certainly makes a difference. Quicken Loans arena likely has around only 20,000 seats and 4400 tickets for EIGHT schools does not seem a lot but the same issue is not new at all. Complaints were loud and clear last year where they were minimal amounts of tickets going to the final four schools, despite a capacity of 72,000.

There is a trend to go to the largers facilities and more and more facilities used in the future will be similar to Lucas Oil, so the numbers will give schools what they want-- more tickets. If you think you (we) are pissed, think about the schools that could have filled the arena on their own, like Syracuse or Ohio State.

Not 100% sure and I couldn't it to verify, but I think in 2009 NDSU recieved 1,000 tickets for the game in Minneapolis against Kansas?? Could it have something to do with venue size? Regional Interest?

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't do any good but couldn't hurt either. I was a little fired up yesterday and wrote President Bradley and RP as well. I told them that I wasn't all that upset that my family didn't get tickets (we actually were able to get two from a friend of ours)...I was upset at the length of time it took to notify everyone and the lack of communication at the beginning (I think a lot of people who put their name on the list thought they were getting tickets...had no idea of the limitations). While we waited to hear from the university tickets for the game were disappearing and getting more and more expensive...as were hotel rooms. I think there would have been a lot more fans make the trip if they were able to make other plans in a timely manner. I heard back from 4 different people at the university, so it's good to know my e-mail was passed on and discussed seriously.
