Sycamores have Bluejays’ full attention

By Steven Pivovar / World-Herald Staff Writer

Ask Creighton coach Greg McDermott about the challenge facing his basketball team in the final month of the regular season and you will get a fairly predictable answer.

“My thoughts are about the upcoming game and not the month,” McDermott said. “I could care less about who is after Indiana State.”

From the Bluejay Underground's game thread:

Never been to a road game before - is there a way to get tickets through Creighton that would be behind our bench or do you just have to buy tickets through ISU and sit amongst the Sycamore faithful?

Read that they are selling tickets cheap. Like $5. So the only cost really is the travel to get there.

Creighton has won at least 10 MVC games in 16 straight seasons

More from the Jayz:

Indiana State's offense isn't anything scary but their defense can give people problems

Pretty simple really... they want butts in the seats. This is their game of the year.

You might find this a bit interesting...The local NBC affiliate (WTWO) in Terre Haute is producing the broadcast of the game on Wednesday night, pumping it to KMTV-2 for live broadcast in Omaha, but being recorded for a tape delay broadcast in Terre Haute. The tape delay won't be shown in Terre Haute until 1:00 AM on Thursday and it will be broadcast on their sister station WAWV at that time.

So I guess if you live in Terre Haute and you want to watch the game live, you either have to be there in person or stream it on your PC through ESPN3 even though your local TV station is producing the game using their own people. That makes sense, doesn't it?
