The Starter Level
Can you believe Creighton is #1 in the Big East and just beat the dog piss out of #4 in the country Villanova! Beat them by what 38 pts and over 60% shooting from the three! Will the Shockers now move into #4 slot next week?

I watched this game, CU could NOT miss, they totally put on a shooting clinic, Wragge was sick! McD was just as good. That was an epic beatdown, Villanova should drop out of the top 10.

After I watched San Diego State beat the piss out of Dougie and Company earlier in the year....I never thought they had a chance to do anything the rest of the season.

Dad has had Doug and The Team, playing at a Championship level of play...they're not dillying, dallying, dogging it, day-dreaming, or half ass lazily playing...they're after it....and they don't play afraid. Teams that can play like this now, will play tough in their Conference Tournaments, and play tough in NCAA play.

Wonder if the undefeated Shockers will move up to the coveted #4 slot?

It will be interesting to see where the committee places WSU and Creighton in the NCAA tournament...

I don't know if you call it irony or what, if they would have to play each other in the tournament.

It just shows, that if we can suck it up, and make the tournament too, how strong the MVC would have been this year with Creighton in it.

How to comeback from a loss:

"Somehow, this was the same Creighton team that never led in an 81-68 loss at Providence on Saturday. The Bluejays made only four 3s in the loss."

If Creighton were still in the Valley they wouldn't be getting as much respect as they are now in the Big East. It is just a product of the bias towards the MVC relative to the major conferences even though the Big East lost major teams in Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse and Notre Dame. Plus UConn has be down the past few years. The Big East isn't what it once was, but will continue to enjoy in the wake of their legacy. Wichita State deserves the credit that they have earned over the past few years, and with their continued success I see them headed for greener pastures leaving the MVC much depleted, but if and when that happens it leaves ISU in a better situation where I think we will be more likely to win and make the tournament year after year, increasing our national exposure. It will be up to ISU to capitalize on that exposure, which sadly we haven't done in the past.
