The Wade Level
Okay I'll admit I don't normaly follow Collge baseball very closely so when I first read the headline in todays TribStar I thought "Dallas Baptist??"...but after reading the article it sounds like they have a extremly good tradition for a small school. Outside of the travel issues it sounds like they might be a good addition.

Missouri Valley Conference administrators are considering the addition of Dallas Baptist to the league as an affiliate member. It’s a move Indiana State coach Rick Heller fully supports.
Dallas Baptist began play as an independent Division I baseball program in 2006 and has a record of 138-65 in those four years, including an at-large berth to a NCAA Regional in 2008.
The Patriots baseball program finished 40th in the NCAA’s final official RPI rankings in 2009 and has been picked No. 40 in the 2010 Collegiate Baseball Fabulous 40 preseason poll.
