monday night??? north carolina, michigan state (this year's team and magic johnson from the 1979 team) and.....INDIANA STATE....there was larry bird with Magic as they presented the game ball to the referee....and they used indiana state's current athletic logo when showing a brief snippet from the 1979 title game with the spartans....very nice....

butler and ball state didn't get the kind of national audience...lol...as i said earlier...the 1978-79 team is a gift that just keeps on giving....lol....

Glad to see Indiana State get the coverage, but this might be the lamest championship game of all time. It's been a bad decade for the Big 10 in championship games.

they did beat three very good teams in kansas, louisville and unconn on their way to the title game....
