I think we can all agree, the current isu situation is embarrassing
We may never know the exact reason for the AD leaving
But we have seen the show before
One thing that bothers me is the lack of guts, for a better word, within the athletic department
It’s like everyone is scared
Please stand up for what is right
Everyone likes Angie Lansing
Everyone knows she wants the full AD job
Her getting it is unlikely
What I would have like to have seen is Angie refusing to be interm AD
I know she is a good soldier but sometimes you need to also take a stand

WHY???? That accomplishes nothing an only brings more bad PR to the situation. This isn't a swipe at Angie, but even if a new AD is appointed she will still have a job. She has performed her duties well in the past, she is a minority being a female, and she is a conduit being a Sycamore.

Why would you not want fresh ideas from a person not related to the taint of the current situation? We brought in Clink, I was skeptical of his background, but he got the job done on many aspects that the prior ADs never had to navigate, NIL Transfer Portal, the football mess, and on and on. Why not take a shot at a P5 related associate AD that is hungry and has worked on these at a high level? Angie will be there.

You also need to pay your mortgage, make your car payment, have insurance, buy food, etc.
