Eric Montross Indiana HS Basketball Star passes away

Another Indiana great, Eric Montross has passed away - age 52, complications from cancer.

Dude was a beast back in the day. Didn't realize he had cancer, way to early for loss of life.

I played against him in the summers from 7th grade on. He was a monster even then. Sad to hear this.

We talked to him when he was just getting out of HS, saw him at a Colts (Hoosier Dome) game. What a nice guy, just coming off that Lawrence N HC champenship. WE were telling him he should be a sycamore, he tought that was cool, was a good guy. Just such a shock, was too young!
