Clint Barmes had the #1 Play of the Day on SportsCenter; great defensive stop -- the throw to first wasn't the greatest (one hopped it) but it was a great catch and it was final out of the game for the Rockies.

Now if he'd push himself at least 75 points NORTH of the 'Mendoza Line' (think he's hitting around .220 for the season...

He was getting a lot of time at 2B but with the injury to Tulowitski; the Rockies are moving him to SS; great to see a Sycamore playing every day.

Believe the Brewers still have Stetter in Nashville (PCL) but Thatcher is getting regular work for the Padres

I thought the throw was fine. He skipped the throw like he was on turf. Prolly the only way he could have got the out.

I didn't think his one-hopper was intentional more happenstance of digging the ball out and making the throw to get the runner

Still a great play

2 within a week...

He did it again...

Clint 'The Glove' Barmes had the #8 ESPN play of the day... great play!

Southern Indiana baseball Legend Scott Rolen knocked out his 300th career tater for the Reds (who are still leading the Cardinals) --- apparently, this is the latest the Red have led the division in 11 years or so...

Thatcher is still getting some work for the Padres; the Brewers need to bring Stetter back up to the Bigs

More Barmes highlights...

Went 2-4, HR, 4 RBIs --- hate to say it but may Tulowitski stay on the bench!
