Espn3.com help???

Is anyone else having problems watching any games on espn3.com???? I am connected to time warner cable internet and they are telling me that i need to be subscribed to television in order to watch anything on espn3 online??? I have direct tv and time warner internet. Someone help. Thanks

Time Warner is listed as an ISP that provides ESPN3 but I don't know if you have to have the tv, too. I wouldn't think so, just due to the fact that ESPN shouldn't be able to tell what kind of cable package you have based off IP address only. I would call Time Warner.

just called them actually as well as espn3.com. they said that if you're connected to time warner internet, you must also be subscribed to time warner cable package in order to watch espn3.com. i guess they have some sort of contract or whatever its called. i cheated the system and just called my mom who has time warner cable and internet and used her login name and password so its working now.
