Eye ewe gives Crean 2 yr extension and raise

Tom Crean has signed a 2 year contract extension and a base pay raise to $3.16 million according to WISH TV 8 in Indy.

"Crean’s [latest of IU's coach/god saviours, others are still being paid off for failing to create hollow sport's miracles] contract extension will raise his annual pay from $2.52 million to $3.16 million. It also includes a performance bonus of up to $55,000 per year for team academic performance as measured by APR, GSR and GPA." --TH Trib Star

And isn't this obscene in every way? The amount paid to an athletic coach for providing no educational service smells all the way to every home of parents shelling out big bucks for their daughter's and son's education, all the way to the IOU column on student's loan accounts, all the way to every department and classroom in Bloominggulch that is overusing Teaching Assistants and increasing class size. And what's with the bonus for team academic performance? Now we have to bribe/reward coaches to recruit players who will study and pass the courses they take? What a concept. Disgusting and out of control.

Q2. Does anyone know how many millions of dollars Eye Ewe has spent in NCAA fines, severance pay of fired coaches, new coaches salaries, penalties, bonuses, general misconduct, etc. in the last 10 years? It has to be astronomical.
