TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State is back home this weekend as the Sycamores host Illinois State at Memorial Stadium for the 2022 Homecoming game. Kickoff between the Sycamores and the Redbirds is set for 1 p.m. and will be carried live on ESPN3 and 105.5 The Legend.

I went to the HC game last season and I thought it was poorly attended compared to HC's of the past. Tent City is gone, besides the very small one inside of the old outfield wall. You're allowed to set up a tent in the tailgating area on the west side, but it has to be small one. The walk is still a thing, but I'm not sure how many actually make it to the stadium anymore. I've heard that it's turned into more of a 'downtown only' walk now.

I used to make a good effort to get to attend homecoming, but unfortunately Curtis ruined it for me, so I don't bother. If it lines up on my work schedule for me to go I'll go and if doesn't I won't. This year it doesn't.

Score prediction: ISU 30 ILSU 26
 
I'm glad we gave them the ball first so that we can play from behind now. I've never understood deferring to the second half. Any team with any kind of offense should be able to score on the opening drive. Might as well lose the tip off on purpose in basketball too right?

I think I'm done with this game. We're down 0-20 in the 1st Quarter and I honestly thought we'd have a chance to win this game. Our defense completely sucks and gives us no chance.

I completely agree with you. They are using analytics innspropriately. If you get the ball first you can have either an equal number attempts to score or more attempts to score in the half. If you k9ck you can have lessareemps orvat best an equal number of attempts to score. Kicking shows no faith in the offense. Oh well.

I am homebound and can not walk. However I was a season ticket holder to football forv30 years straight. Not many can say that. I had been a very.loyal fan and contributed a fair amount to the athletics fund. Health issues and current expenses no longer allow me to do that but I still pay to have license AA31 on my car. I believe I deserve the right to voice my opinion having bled blue for a number.of years even though I can no.longer be in the stands!!!

Then by all means continue to have fun. I will continue watching the game hoping to have some fun! May have to wait for basketball and take pride in that we recently had an NBA first round draft choice on our team.
