Fifth?

As disappointed as people are with the men being picked seventh, I think fifth for the Lady Sycamores is even more questionable. Luna (congrats on her All-MVC selection) and company should have a great year. I'm anxious to see how the season progresses. Hopefully the injury bug is gone.

I agree this team will finish higher than 5th, but middle of the road is good; you don't have that extra pressure of being picked #1.

Any ideas of a starting lineup?

After talking with Coach Wiedie, it looks like Luna will start the year off at the point before handing it over to freshman Taylor Whitley. They will move Luna to the 2 guard to allow her to get more shots.

I do too Mayberry. I think she is going to be a very good player, heck she already is.

Luna is a great point guard as she knows the game so well, can handle the ball, drive, etc.... There are so many offensive looks this team can do. While some may think she will get more shots as a "2", I think she will score at ease at the point due to her ability to take it to the hole. And once they get into their offensive set, she can still bomb away from 3 land.

Post play will be key, I think. If Shannon Thomas becomes very agressive, this team could do really well. We have perimeter scoring, so if Cooley/Thomas/Rademacher and gang can control the paint we just might be unstoppable.
