Gentlemen, We've Just Seen The Buzzsaw!

Wow! It's the sixth inning and we're down 17-3! This is the strongest team we will face all season and they may be the hottest team in the country right now...with 16 straight wins and 47 homers (so far six of those today!) As a team they are batting .390 in Ohio Valley with an OB% of nearly .500 and have won 7 in conference and the last 16 (including today) overall. An incredible offensive barrage. I just hope our guys can put this one behind them quickly and get ready for the real world this weekend! Has anyone seen an opponent this ominous over the past few years?

Gentlemen, the buzzsaw has finally gone silent at 25-7. May it rest in peace! The worst damge we did today is to ding their closer's ERA. He had a 2.00 going into today in 18 innings and 5 saves. The four runs we scored in the 9th drove it to about a 4.00.
