The All-MVC Level
Golden tries to explain how ISU can make the I-AA playoffs in his blog tonight.

http://blogs.tribstar.com/downinthevalley/?p=370

Best case scenario for ISU is to win out and hope UNI can beat WIU, that gives ISU the MVFC autobid. (ISU holds the tiebreak over MSU)

Even if ISU wins out they will still only have 6 wins vs. I-AA schools, so that may not be enough to get an at-large bid (if WIU beats UNI and wins the MVFC). I am pretty sure you need 7 wins vs. I-AA schools to get at-large consideration.

Anyway, gotta see what happens tomorrow first I guess.

from what I have been told....

seven wins against I-A or I-AA is NOT a requirement. BUT the NCAA selection committee can use the fact that a team doesn't have seven wins against I-A or I-AA competition to keep a team out of the playoffs.

Let's face it, WIN the MVFC, then you're in. Beyond that, not likely. It IS possible to go 3-0. It really is and hopefully those players are well aware of that fact! GO TREES~
