Ya, my Theta Chi Fraternity bros., who was Assistant Coach of that '77 squad replied, "It's about time," if that says anything about ISU Sports Administration thru the years.

Curious, why after 42 yrs. does ISU want to "honor" Kurt Thomas, who anchored the '77 Sycamore NCAA co-champion squad w/Bart Connor's Oklahoma Sooners? It's been 34 yrs. since ISU trashed their once-prominent Men's & Women's programs, and how many fans do they think will actually magnetize to these moments? Are Curts & Co. simply trying to heal the wounds from this historic rift in ISU Athletics?
