So it says they are funding the hulman center $75M...did they change it or is it still the $37.5M deal and we have to come up with the other half?
As for Hulman Center, as I understand it, we have a commitment from the state for up to $37.5M, in sort of a dollar for dollar match. So, ISU/Terre Haute/Vigo County/Convention and Visitors Bureau have to come up with another $37.5M for the state to fulfill all of its funding commitment. The City of Terre Haute could torpedo this whole deal, given its pathetic financial state. That's why you'll probably see the Convention and Visitors Bureau taking part in the project.
From everything I've learned, HC won't be done before 2020, and that's being optimistic. Unless, of course, something big changes...
