I'd like to change the pace a little from all the sniping going on in other threads and ask you guys where do you think we would rank in the good ole ICC if it still existed? For all you young guys, the ICC existed from 1950 - 1979 and we were one of the charter members. Our conference affiliation was 1950 - 1968. The ICC was one of the premier Division II basketball conferences in the nation. During the mid 60's the Sycamores played in front of capacity crowds at the Arena and were a Division II national power. Lots of fun back then. I thought I'd try to lighten things up a bit in light of what's currently going on with our team.
Here's my view:
1. Butler
2. Valpo
3. Evansville
4. Indiana State
5. Ball State
6. DePauw
7. St. Joe

Forgive me saying it, Woz, but Ball State is 12-7 and our stellar 7-13 record might not rate us ahead of the evil Cardinals, unless you rate us ahead solely because of a victory over them on the road.

Yes, I know. I rated us ahead of them for two reasons:
1. Our win over them on the road.
2. My eternal dislike for them.

Don't yell at me for trying to put a positive note on our season. It has been extremely disappointing. However, the way WSU and ISU red are playing, all of the other teams are, effectively, starting the season with 4 losses.

So we might be better than BSU and UE.
