their is a Chicago area golf outing coming up for the alumni association in Chicago, I think this week. They keep posting it on Linked in. You may try that??


Nevermind, it is the same event. It isn't being promoted as a Football fundraiser, but it is on the same date and at the same golf course, so it has to be the same thing.

A note from former Sycamore David Allen about the Chicago golf outing....

To all:

This is the first official golf outing for the new ISU Chicago Alumni Association that was formed last March 2010. It is a new chapter of the ISU Alumni Association that has the full support of ISU and the ISU Foundation. There are other ISU alumni chapters throughout Indiana and other states. However, ISU has never had an official alumni association in the Chicago area. With the Chicago area having the 2nd largest number of ISU alumni outside of Indiana, this was overdue.

The objectives of this alumni group are to raise scholarship funds for all ISU students, including student-athletes, and help recruit high school seniors at local college fairs to attend ISU to increase enrollment. Illinois high school student enrollment to ISU is up!

John Wayhart did a great job to get this golf outing arranged for Chicago area alumni. The cost for golf, cart, and lunch is $100.00.

Hope to see the Chicago area ISU football alumni there!
