With Shakir's success so far this season and hopefully some good press to finish the season I have to think that picking off some of the better players in Indy is a definite possibility for this upcoming recruiting class. Especially some of those that have traditionally gone to Ball State and maybe some that opt for the "preferred walk-on" status at IU. Certainly a good selling point to come to a program with local talent performing at a high level and a program clearly on the upswing.

Tons of recruits there yesterday. Got in the stadium early and saw Coach Miles addressing them. Must have been close to 100...
 
There were also about 100 recruits at the YSU game also. I walked into the stadium as well, and they were sitting at the end by the locker room listening to Coach Miles. That's a great thing to see.
 
Saw all of the recruits and Miles talking to them as well. Any reports on who was there? Anything new for the recruiting section?
