All one of perspective, MOST donors have some stipulations attached to their donation. The robber-baron Koch's have as much of an agenda as the currency-manipulating Soros...[/QUOTE.

LOL. I can't believe I didn't have you as a suspect to take this story and run south with it.

Now the Soros dig I get, but isnt the Robber Baron comment a Josh Ernrest talking point, and a page from the MSNBC playbook?

So you dislike the Soros, so you agree with the assessment; yet (i'll hazard a guess that) you like the Koch Brothers and therefore you disagree that that assessment?

What IS a modern robber baron? Do the Koch Brothers qualify? They didn't establish, grow, build the more visible parts of Koch Industries, did they?

Koch Industries purchased Georgia-Pacific (est 1927) in 2005; Koch Industries purchased Molex (est 1938) in 2013; Koch Industries purchased Invista (spun off from DuPont in 2003) in 2004...

The BEST part of a private company? No fussy, messy public disclosures... Are they anything like their father? At times they seem very MUCH like their father... Are they like there two lesser known brothers? Not from what I've read...

ISU_Muncee will have to live with their decision to accept that $$$; it's HIGHLY doubtful, there won't be "certain conditions" attached to it -- just as other LARGE donors attach conditions

Josh Ernrest? Who is that individual?

4Q_IU, would you consider Warren Buffett a so-called "RobberBaron"? If you're gonna label supposedly Conservative supporters let's not forget the big supporters of Liberal causes.

He'd fit the description; comes across as benign to some but any person who can make the markets jump with a statement or lack of a statement is a person with too much influence -- there's more light on Buffet's books because he's a public company... I don't agree with much if his " charitable " goals

Are you calling them robber barons because they purchased companies?
