17 athletes -- 10 women and 7 men -- were named MVC Scholar-Athletes.

In addition, 23 ISU athletes were named to the All-MVC Outdoor Track & Field team.
Leading the list was Sycamore junior Kylie Hutson, who was voted as the MVC Outstanding Field Athlete by a vote of the league coaches at the conclusion of the conference championship. Hutson was also named All-MVC winning the women’s pole vault competition.
Junior Lauren Martin received All-MVC recognition in four events, the most by any Sycamore. Martin was honored in the long jump, triple jump, 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay. Junior Erica Moore was honored in three events (heptathlon, 400 meter hurdles and 4x400 meter relay) as was senior Jeanne’ Middleton (100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 meter relay).
Senior Mary Kate Conway was honored in the 4x100 meter relay and the 4x400 meter relay with sophomore Kelsey Hanley recognized for the discus throw, Rachel Posey in the 4x400 meter relay, and sophomore Jaquelle Spencer in the 4x100 meter relay.
On the men’s side, senior Sean Wright led the way by receiving All-MVC recognition in three events (400 meters, 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay). Junior Daryl Truitt was recognized for his efforts in the 100 meters and 4x100 meter relay while senior Antinoice Surry and senior Gary Ogburn were both recognized in the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay, and junior Eric Schulz in the 5000 meters and 10,000 meters.
Senior Anthony Bertoli earned All-MVC recognition in the decathlon, sophomore Major Clay in the high jump, sophomore Michael Disher in the 3000 meter steeplechase, freshman Brandon Pounds in the shot put, sophomore Michael Roberts in the 110 meter hurdles, freshman Colton Slack in the 4x400 meter relay, freshman Jeremiah Vaughan in the 1500 meters, senior Kyle Walsh in the 3000 meter steeplechase, senior Joshua Williams in the hammer throw, and junior Brandon Youngdale in the high jump.
