Former Terre Haute South standout Timmy Herrin -- oldest son of former Indiana State OL Tim Herrin -- has signed with the Cleveland Indians and will not return to IU for his senior season.

The LHP was taken in 29th round of MLB Draft last week, Herrin got a signing bonus of $100,000.

Carter Herrin, his younger brother, will be a freshman football player at Indiana State this fall.

Good for him. His dad is a great guy and was a great offensive lineman.
