As stated in the article, the Scott College of Business hosts a (what I would think to be annual) conference in Chicago that this year 350 participants from 53 universities attended. My question, would it be too hard to bring this event to Terre Haute? Another great opportunity to expose the highlights TH has to offer, and we just send it away to Chicago. Not only are you bringing in undergraduates from across the country, but you are also bringing in what seems to be high ranking officials from national companies. 350 participants could easily be accommodated, and plenty of places both on and off campus have the ability to hold conferences of this size.

Totally agree with some caveats...

You can fly into Chicago from anywhere in the world...

In the press releases, American U in BEIRUT is mentioned, as are schools in Fla, NY, etc

Per the agenda, these are two things that CANNOT occur in Terre Haute

Other than air travel into/from Terre Haute (TH Regional is charter only) and the lack of a Fed Reserve Bank in Terre Haute NOR a Stock Floor (NASDAQ, NYSE, CBOE, etc)
the conference could/should be The Haute.

The casino doesn't count as a Stock Floor - does it?

The sports book during the first weekend of madness might count as a stock floor
