Weatherwise, things are looking iffy. Here's the forecast from the National Weather Service UPDATED 3/20 at 8 p.m. (ET):

Wednesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 71. South wind between 8 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Wednesday Night: Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 52. South wind between 9 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

with such a high chance for rain Weds. in Columbia will the team even waste the time and gas to get over there to sit around for a few hours while it rains, then drive all the way home?

The bus will likely be scheduled to leave at 9:00 a.m. or so and they'll probably look at the odds for rain prior to the trip. It is a 4.5 hour bus ride, as I remember...so I know they won't go blindly. Or do I know that?! LOL
