Just figured I'd start a game thread if anyone is interested in talking about the game tonight. Hope the Ladies can continue with their strong play from sunday, they really need to win this game and sat's game at evansville.

The Sycamores still have a good chance of not having to play the play-in game in the MVC tournament. With wins on the road tonight and saturday and then at least a couple more wins over the last two weekends its possible. Drake is sixth in the standings and has a lot of tough games left to play.

That would be nice if they could avoid thurs nites playin as i could swing a trip to st.charles for fri-sun. How awesome would it be if this team could make a run at the conference title in the the trny. I believe its possible as the biggest problem this season on court has been the open shots not falling. I mean if they start making their shots theyre defense has been solid. I would think if that were to happen that Weddle wouldnt be going anywhere.

Score??

nevermind, just tuned in to the radio broadcast, live stats isn't working.

Luna scored 17 points in the last five minutes to help seal the game down the stretch. Good win tonight! Drake lost tonight as well so the Sycamores are only 2 games behind sixth place in the MVC standings.

Good game. I am wondering why Rivest, Smith and Paul are sitting...

My best guess is they are playing the ladies that fit best into the system and the game. I mean when you have 10-12 players you cant always get everyone in. I mean sarah paul just isnt that great of a player quite honestly, not sure sometimes about the players that get brought in just to sit. At any rate I am proud of this team and the way they have handled some very difficult times.
