ISU Track at Drake Relays and Indy meet

Split squads this weekend as most will compete in Indianapolis, while others will head to the 100th Drake Relays in Des Moines.

Erica Moore and Anthony Bertoli kicked things off for ISU at Drake today.

Erica Moore is in 5th and Bertoli 10th after day 1 in the Heptathlon and Decathlon

pretty good day for both ISU athletes, both have good chances to move up as their best events are Thursday.

Brandon Pounds' 7th in the men's shot put and Kylie Hutson's 4th place in the women's pole vault look like the best finishes for ISU Friday at the Drake Relays. ISU's mile relay was 10th and didn't advance to the finals. ISU's women's distance Medley was 17th

that's probably going to be ISU's best finish at the meet, they're not having a very good day today. Michael Disher did qualify for the NCAA regional meet in the steeplechase though, and Erica Moore was 4th in the 400 meter hurdles.

the ISU relay teams aren't doing so well.

Would have been nice to have seen some of our Sycamores on ESPN2. The meet was on TV, Sunday. Northern Iowa was in finals in every relay Sunday on TV. Impressive!
