Eastern Illinois is not the nation's best slugging team like it was in 2009...far from it.

The Sycamores beat EIU 10-0 on a 17 hit barrage. Kyle Rupe (now 2-0) pitched a heck of a game...going seven strong innings and getting 10 strike-outs! Only one walk! Just seven hits...of which one was a double and one was a triple. So far this season, in three outings, he has looked far more seasoned than a freshman!
