ISU women BB defeat Evansville 64-50

key win for the women today as they move back to 8-8 in MVC play. We'll need to see how the Drake-WSU game turns out. It's going on now.

ISU has 2 games left, at UNI and Bradley, gonna have to win at least one of those games to avoid Thursday.

WSU is leading Drake in the 2nd half, if that result holds up this will be the standings after today:

5th Indiana State 8-8 14-13
6th Wichita State 8-8 14-13
7th Drake 8-9 14-14
8th Bradley 6-10 13-14

ISU closes at UNI and at Bradley, WSU closes at winless SIU and at Evansville while Drake hosts 2nd place Creigton to close its' season.

ISU definitely has it's work cut out for them

WSU defeats Drake, so it may come down to a tiebreaker between ISU and Drake to determine 6th and 7th in the MVC (assuming WSU sweeps SIU and UE and that Drake loses to Creighton, and that ISU loses to UNI but wins at Bradley). that scenario puts WSU at 10-8, and ISU and Drake at 9-9, so it depends on how the women do the tiebreaker since ISU and Drake split the season series.

Wichita very likely to grab the 5 seed with Southern and Evansville left on their schedule. We have to win one of the last 2 and hopefully Creighton beats Drake on their floor. It would be nice to avoid Thursday, that's for sure.
