The guys on espn kept saying that alot of people were acting as if the sycamores were the favorites to win the tourney. thats pretty cool!
 
We already played DePaul recently so I'm glad it's Minnesota. Will be nice to play a Big 10 team, too, after already beating a Big 12 team.

Unless ISU can keep the Gophers from controlling the offensive boards and driving to the goal, it will be a long day. The Gophers are long and very athletic.
I remember only a few shots they made outside 12-15 ft. Not sure if they can score very well other than dunk shots and close in. If we can control their inside game, we have a good shot at them...IMHO...providing our outside shot is falling because we won't get much inside the block.
 
We are a better than Minn !! Our coach is better and I feel our Depth is better. Yes they have some tall guys, body them up with a rotation and charge admission to shoot in the paint!!! The MVC is the Big 10 of the so called Mid Majors so get physical. This is Sampson the 3rd, not his daddy, show him birthright doesn't mean shit. Minn is the last of the Big schools to remain and its our duty to destroy them!! I expect victory!!
 
Going to have to get some better offense and not rely on FT's today. Also, going to need to dominate the boards. A win today would be huge for the team and the program with back to back wins on national tv against the B1G and Big 12. GO TREES!
