The Wade Level
Well, its started.

All kinds of idiot IU Band Wagon folks at work are starting to break out their IU shirts, jackets and sweatshirts.

They're smiling with glazed over eyes, grinning, high fiving each other saying they're back...and back to stay.

You should see it....and the FW Journal Gazette (morning) and the FW News Sentinel (evening) are getting worse. They were already sucking on every front and hind teat of the Cream and Crimson, but now that they're undefeated and beat NC State last night...they're really going to get themselves worked up in ink lather.

And here we are, with one our best all time ballclubs with our own 6-1 record, and hardly a peep of up here about it.

And speaking of INDIANA. At two different games at the OSC, I saw people there with INDIANA gear on. One was a woman with her husband/boyfriend at the Texas Tech game (he was wearing an INDIANA STATE shirt) and the other time was a guy walking into the HP Field House at the OSC with an INDIANA shirt for the Fairfield game. At least his wasn't red, like hers was.

So what does it all mean? I know I don't like to see IU gear at ISU games at the HC. So are the people who are wearing IU gear at ISU home and away games just weird, or are they ISU fans but don't have ISU clothes to wear? Or are the IU fans that like Indiana State. I don't get it.

Anyway, it's going to be a long basketball season in FW if I gotta see more and more IU shirts at work, and tons of IU cigarette lighters at the gas stations. Aaaarggghhh.

I know of two possibilities personally... because I know people in this situation.
1) IU Grad married to ISU Grad.
2) ISU fans/alumni with kids at IU
