Keaffaber, as a freshman, is the best young arm we've seen in many years. He can start, long-relief or even set-up and close. Highly flexible. And he has a .213 opposing batting average, with a 2.43 ERA. Pray that he avoids injuries...like we saw with Tyler Browning after a great freshman season in 2010. Browning never got back to any sort of form. And, Keaffaber is starting out even better than Sean Manaea! Ryan Keaffaber will be a hot commodity if he continues to ramp up his ability.
Does anyone know how hard he throws? He only has 27 K's in 43 innings.
