Not true. It's a very small blurb, but ISU got a headline on page C8 of the Sunday sports section and the story mentions the record.

page C8 at the top of the page. The headline reads "Indiana State enjoys 3-point perfection". ISU got 4 paragraphs--3 more that usually given the Trees. I have no idea if the records received mention on any of the Indy TV sports segments last night.

I've noticed that ISU is the only school in the state for which the indy star does NOT have the women's scores. Does anyone know? Do they pull them in from a wire service, so that they have to intentionally delete ISU's score?
Why would they do that? Do they run Ball State and Valpo women's scores? If they run those and delete ours, I would love to know what on earth they would do that for.
today they had scores for:
Indy
Franklin
Hanover
Huntington
IPFW
Ill Chicago
Loyola
Marian
Earlham
Ball St
USI
IUPUI
Valpo
Vincennes
and no ISU.
And I usually check and I never see our scores.

Not patting the Indy Star's back when it comes to our scores but the Saturday edition DID have the ISU women's score from Friday night and I imagine that the score from today's game will be in the Monday sports section. Not surprised that the Sunday edition did NOT have the women's score because they didn't play. In Mel's years when the women had a great deal of success, I felt they gave us some extra attention. Like anything else, win on a regular basis and the love is there, usually. Right now BOTH of our hoops teams are a hair above average and so is their coverage.

That is bizarre. Love to hear an explanation for that. I actually agree with Bent for once..........newspapers are outdated by a decade or so. True fans use Twitter or the Internet to find out way sooner then the time newspapers come out.
How dumb of me. I actually assumed whoever started this women's scores things knew if we had a game the previous day or not. Our women did play today, so they obviously did not play yesterday.
Sorry, I did check Sat paper and the score is in there. However, there have been numerous times when the score was not in the paper.
