From the Loyola fan forum:

"Loyola plays selfish. I believe the sharing of the ball starts with the Coach. I know you Loyola fans LOVE Moser BUT is starts with the Coach. The Coach has to see the one pass and shoot or the one pass and drive with your head down and hope for a bail out or the no pass and dribble all the way up the court regardless if team mates are running the floor. I guess I just expect more out of Chicago ball."

That's one problem we don't have this year. I think our passing could be an advantage for us if we can be smart about it.

Yes that problem does exist at ISU. Don't know what games you have been watching? Passing without a purpose is meaningless. If the pass is not delivered at the right time it ain't working. Surely you don't also disagree with the drive & dump syndrome too? The only game passing & driving worked really well was vs. Butler. Team can't fire up & play Butler or Wichita every week. Need to compete on a steady basis & not just once in a while or headed for another Thursday in St. Louis.

Not sure what you are saying. We have a better passing team than we usually have, with more players that can pass.

As long as we are discussing some areas that could be fixed. Wonder why ISU either doesn't recruit many or sometimes land any JC "Bigs"? I don't mean 6'9 guys that shoot 3's and don't rebound. I mean like the JC center at Wichita, another coming up at Missouri State today, even Barry at SIU comes up with one most every season. Rickman excepted, most of our 6'9 or 6'10 recruited frosh don't show much until their last year in uniform and sometimes not even then. A somewhat more predictable 2 yr player can give that much or on occasion two full years of production. Would seem to be a better investment than JC guards.

And again as several have said. Leave Rickman on the floor to build his endurance. If he fouls out so what. Bring in Murphy and let him foul out too. Neither of them gain anything riding the bench.
