We could also place cardboard figurine cutouts in the empty seats of the lower bowl so it would appear that the place was full and make the gendarme ushers jobs easier to appease the ticket manager?

I've always thought that the Hulman Center should not sell any upper bowl tickets until the lower bowl is completely full that way the noise is a lot closer to the court giving it a better atmosphere...then turn out the lights that are on the upper bowl so it gives the appearance of a packed house. It will never happen just thought it was an interesting idea...the ticket value would just be cheaper the higher you went obviously...

Not going into the ticket issue (oft debated, never settled), but they do need to get rid of the bright lights over the upper deck. All that does is make the empty orange and yellow seats really stand out. It didn't used to be that way, until about 10 years ago. It could be done, and would enhance at least the appearance of the arena, particularly on TV...

The bright lights are only needed over the court, not the seating area. the ability to darken the lights over the seating area makes watching the game more enjoyable. There are high school arenas in Indiana, such as New Castle, that do this and I find it very enjoyable.
