sadly, not expecting too much out of either team tomorrow, neither team is ranked in the top 15 of the Great Lakes Regional anymore, so a top 15 team finish by either team would be a bonus.

Akis Medrano and Brooke Moore are the best shots ISU has to advance anyone to the NCAA meet.

Congrats to Akis Medrano for qualifying for the NCAA meet, it won't be announced until later because at large bids have not been awarded to teams yet, but IU and Purdue will qualify as teams for the meet, that will mean Akis will be the 4th individual from the Great Lakes Regional. The top 4 not on teams qualify for the NCAA meet. He's the first to do so since Mascari did in 2015. So this is very nice for Akis!

Brooke Moore led the women, running a good time of 21:25, but was nowhere near being able to qualify as an individual.

Teamwise, both teams did not run well at all, the men were 17th, and the women 19th, probably two of the worst finishes we've had at the regional meet. Need to get some runners in who will bring us back up to where we belong.
