Why is Crossroads not doing 50/50 or an autographed basketball raffle at every game? 10 dollars a ticket for an autographed team basketball would raise a lot of money. A ton of creative things they could do to drive money.

If they sold 10k tickets throughout the year for $10 a piece Plus a 50/50 every game, easily add 250K to the fund. Now if it’s legal or not I do not know. But they are missing out huge by not capitalizing on our teams success and social media attention.

I think they are missing big on getting the “smaller” donors to contribute. The concentration has been on who wants to give $5k+

Attention and participation in our program is higher than ever. I would have like to have seen “Give to Blue”-type promotion created and shared like crazy.

When I talk to people “in the know” I hear a lot of “we’re good on JS and retiring the team”. Yo, you can never have enough in this climate…

Agree that a lot of "smaller" donors can make the difference to make ISU competitive salary-wise for our men's basketball coaches and our leader Josh Schertz. Unlike the school down the road we don't have a Mark Cuban handing out spare cash but a whole lot of individuals & smaller sponsors & advertising can pick up a lot of slack to make things more equal in the MVC.
