Mysterious Game Today Cancelled (3/15)

It wasn't on the Sycamores official schedule...but it was on Bowling Green State's schedule. Apparently, unbeknown to Sycamore fans, there was to have been a contest today in Bowling Green Ohio. It has been cancelled due to wet field conditions. In fact, D1Baseball.com took it one step further, posting yesterday that the game was in Florida! And here are the final words on Sunday's story on GoSycamores.com:

"ISU returns to the field this weekend with a series against Eastern Kentucky on Friday through Sunday on Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium. First pitch on Friday is set for 3:00 p.m."

If the game had happened...the Sycamores would have been facing the three-time (2008, 2009 & 2010) MAC Champs!

Does anyone have details on if this mysterious game was to have occurred?

Mystery solved! The sports information department says it was a late addition to the schedule and did not get onto the Sycamore's web site. The weather was a known problem and there was talk of moving the game to Terre Haute for today, but that plan was scrapped yesterday. Would have been a nice game to add to the schedule!
