Just saw Reese walking around behind the hammer area on espnu. They only showed the girl from UCLA throw

on her 3rd throw Erin threw a TEN FOOT PR, new school record and she made the finals, there is a link on espn3 dedicated to the Hammer, tune in now! 3 throws left!

Reese does it again! She briefly moved into 2nd on her 4th throw, 228-06, then the UCLA gal passed her on the next throw, Reese is now in 3rd, 2 throws left!

Tune in to ESPN3 now to see her last 2 throws.

Obviously another school record

On her 5th throw she goes over 231 feet!! Back into 2nd place! Best toss is 234 feet now, she has one left!

233-02 on her 6th throw! ANOTHER PR and school record! She got 2nd place to a girl from Cal who also threw a huge PR to win! Great end to her career!

Cassaundra Roper throws the SP at 10:15, maybe she can feed off Erin's performance and be top 8!

Reese's throw is the 9th best hammer throw in NCAA history, she also has the discus throw on Saturday, so she's not done yet

Cassaundra Roper didn't make the finals in the SP but she was 16th overall, so good enough for 2nd team all american. A very respectable end to her ISU career!
