The Sycamore Level
Ok, I received my cards in the mail today. Nice brochure from the new AD promoting Sycamore Athletics and describing donation levels. I am a Blue & White Level donor since I have season tickets in the lower bowl. The brochure says I have to be a donor of $500+ to obtain entrance to the Varsity Club at home Basketball games. How will they enforce this? Did they issue a different color card to the higher donors? Why in the world do we want to discourage alumni from patronizing the Varsity Club Room before and at halftime of home Basketball Games with the requirement of a higher donation? We sell lots of beer that helps out our program!

Don’t be mad for them trying to get more money from mid/lower level donors, sorry but that’s just how this university has to operate to try to sustain our level (or to improve) of athletics
 
Not mad, just surprised. I have a card due to the required donation for lower level seats, but it looks like they can deny entrance to people who give lower than the $500 amount, or the $210 requirement per ticket.
