I don't understand your statement. So far their season is going undefeated.

And...no kidding that rankings don't win conference championships, but if I had to choose between ISU not showing up in the rankings and ISU showing up in the rankings, I would choose ISU showing up in the rankings. It's something that HARDLY EVER happens with State (in every sport) and would be nice to see, for a change.

I think they should get some votes and I'm confident they will after a couple two three more wins.
 
He means that since their loss to ISU (home), they have also lost to Arkansas State (home) and Creighton (away).
 
Oh I wish they would get votes to but it's not hard to figure out why they aren't getting votes! Can't wait to travel to Eastern Illinois and watch the Lady Trees!
 
I wouldn't expect the Lady Sycamores to sniff the top 25 until they're about 10-0. That's what it took for the men a few years ago.

Ahhhhhh, I'm an idiot....duh.

I really don't expect us to crack the top 25, I just think we're worthy of getting one freakin' vote.

If we don't lose this week, I think we deserve to be an "others receiving votes team" in the next poll.

They might have to win some 15 to 20 games to crack the top 25! The Mo Vall isnt very good basketball.

Why do you always jump at the bait? If you have a differing opinion and are confident in it, then own it, don't bash the school or one of its programs (that you seem to otherwise support) just in the interest of defending yourself and your own insecurities. It doesn't have to be you vs. the entire board. On occasion you might find someone agrees with you.

Dec. 7th Rankings....still no love/votes...

Even though I don't know much about them, I bet we could hang with or beat the mid-majors who are receiving votes: St. Bonaventure, Vermont, Gardner-Webb, Wisconsin-Green Bay, James Madison, etc....

The girls are playing very well so far with the schedule they have, but unfortunately the schedule hasn't prepared them well enough for valley road play or for any possible postseason tourny. Green Bay, I know, has a very solid team. They have some quality wins over big names and have beaten everyone pretty handily. If you recall, they beat us pretty good either last year, or two years ago on their home court after we embarrased them the year before at the Hulman Center.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the way the women have been playing and they have a pretty exciting style of play, but they will have to win probably 10-12 in a row to get some votes with our weak schedule. Beating Butler handily tomorrow will go a long well to helping and them going out West and winning should get the Sycamore some deserved attention.
