SF317, if I understand what you asking...
Erickson has started but will not be online for students to live in until next year. The staff and offices that were housed in Erickson just moved about a month ago or so and tear out just started. So that is not an option in terms of housing for this school year. This is somewhat normal over the past few years at ISU. The increased enrollment has lead to housing shortages on campus. This typically works itself out within a week or two of school starting (some students that have rooms don't show up, some change their rooms, some take on roommates that had single rooms, etc.). For the past 3-4 years students have been housed in hotels or buildings near campus to address the lack of rooms. Also, there is another housing project that is supposed to be started this fall, that will provide significant housing for sororities, taking them out of Lincoln Quad by 2013 (I am told). Either way, there is no good answer to your very difficult to read questions...I hope that helps. ResLife will get all students taken care of and all will have a bed, it may not be perfect at the start but ResLife is, in my estimation, the best office on campus in terms of how it is run and who runs it...they will work out something to make sure that freshman are taken care of!
