Indoor just finished and now outdoor starts this week with a scored meet (I think it's scored) at SIU-E. Competing teams Missouri, Western Kentucky, Indiana State, Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois, SIU-E, and UW-Milwaukee.

Should be a good meet, hopefully the weather is conducive for good times, distances, etc...

On the men's side, ISU is beginning this outdoor season on a high note, having won the indoor MVC title for the first time ever. If the men can win the outdoor title in May it will be the first time any school has won CC, Indoors, and Outdoors in the same year. So let's go ISU! The women should be better outdoors as well!

Sounds totally chaotic. Typical weather for late March/early April, though. Bob and I would like to run (unattached, of course) the 2000 steeple without the water barriers.

if we have the option to just run around the barriers, I'd like to run that race too!

Bob looks fit and ready for a spring steeple. Not sure about that loser in 2nd.

Sorry, Mark. I carried you for as long as I could. Where the heck did you dredge up this photo?

P.S. Looks like there's a softball game getting started in background.

I took a camera along on that Spring trip to Jonesboro. I think I passed the camera to Dr. Hanrahan for the steeple. All I remember is that is was extremely windy on the home straight. I think the "softball game" is actually the discus cage!
