Overseas Trip

It's been 5 years since we last made our summer overseas trip to the Bahamas. Aren't we overdue for another similar offseason trip? Curious if anyone knows how often teams can make those trips and if we have any plans of doing that in the future.

Although Samuels broke his foot on the trip and never played a game or us afterwards, I'm guessing getting any work in as a team in the offseason is a nice head start.

I am wary of another trip like this only because I remember GL saying that the team was very tired (mentally and physically) as the year wound down because they had been going at it since August due to the earlier practices allotted to them with the trip.

I guess he may have learned some new things from that experience to keep the team more "fresh" but still not sure in the long run the benefits outweigh the costs. I could be wrong though (it has happened before once,.....once:laugh

These trips can be very expensive for the University as well. That may be the answer.

Interesting.... normally the head coaches are singing the praises of theses trips for the team chemistry they build... I can't remember a coach complaining (or otherwise) of a team being tired...
