Video ? ? ?

OK -- I found the "Photo Album" with still pictures but don't see any reference to actual "video" -- what am I missing ? ? ?

? ? ?

I have to say -- in spite of all the advantages -- I HATE COMPUTERS !

That said -- on my screen -- there is nothing but big white space between the photo with "Photo Album" printed above and the game story at the bottom. There is nothing to click on ? ? ? ? ?

Camera Location

The one thing I would do for all video coverage of ISU football is placed the main camera(s) opposite the stands. Without ANY stands on the other side of the field -- while the players and the play looks collegiate -- the bareness behind the visiting team looks very bad. As if no one is there or maybe its a
7th grade game.
By the way -- if a new stadium is ever built keep that in mind -- put the TV
coverage area opposite the main stands.

But where would they put the camera and camera man? We'd have to build a tower over there. I actually think just building a taller hill (maybe three to four times the size of the mound there now) and letting people sit on it would be cool. Don't know though if hauling in the dirt would be cheaper than actual stands. Maybe just take the mounds left from the tee boxes and greens around the stadium and relocate it.

I think because the mound is Chief Ouabachi's burial ground, it is considered sacred and it cannot be modifed. :-)

I definitely agree with that and have been thinking that while watching all of the highlights this year...it would especially be a good idea during Homecoming when the crowd is there...just another added marketing tool for potential recruits, etc. to see.

Camera Placement

They had a moveable "lift" of some type at the Homecoming game -- I think with one of the TV cameras on it --- but it was in the endzone. Needs to be behind the Chief's burial mound facing the stands.

By the way, the new video board is very nice. Just needs something around it to sorta "frame" it -- even just some blue and white fabric or banners would give it a more substantial look.
