Thought I would start something new for the board, to break the Winter doldrums, and that is to pick out your three or less, favorite threads and posts-for-the-month, and write a comment why the post, topic, or thread that you attach…is your favorite.
Since there are so many posts on SP, this is sustainable on a month-to-month basis. So this thread, is just for January 2014. If anyone wants to start one for another Month, or Year in the past…that’s fine, but start a new thread.
Here are my picks for January 2014.
See post # 166 in this Missouri State game thread. It kind reminds of that song that Glen Campbell originally did, and has been re-made by The Vogues, and The Lettermen, Turn Around Look At Me.
In honor of the aforementioned post, I’ve redone the lyrics of this song as follows:

Here’s another good one for January, I’m calling it Down The Shitter. Here was a perfectly good thread to start the day for the WSU game, and it wasn’t five posts later and SHAZZAM, the whole thread went South. You can read all 10 Posts in the Marshall Doesn’t Play Horse thread in in no time at all. Even as this thread is being quickly hijacked, a buncha SP bloggers give thanks to one particular post for it being stolen. WTF?

My third and final pick, and probably my favorite for the month is from the Arch Madness thread. Reference posts # 13 and # 17. These are probably the funniest posts for the month. Yes, I’m in this thread, but I never said you couldn’t pick one of your own posts. LOL! Besides, what can you say about the The Most Interesting Blogger On SP? Maybe something like this. “I Don’t Always Go To March Madness, But When I Do, I always Bring My Collection Of Care Bears, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Chuck Norris Action Figurines.”
