So it's been a few years since our athletics have released the new logo and a more uniformed look of our athletics across the board. The one thing I've noticed is the use of powder blue in a lot of our uniforms now and merchandise. Obviously our iconic powder blue basketball jerseys blazed the trail but I LOVE some of our uniforms since they've incorporated the color more. Track, baseball, and softball have all sported some sharp looking outfits and I hope that the athletic department gets even more creative moving forward.
I know it was met with a lot of criticism but the new logo has grown on me. Part of that might be I HATED the script "sycamores" before, but I think our athletic department has done a pretty nice job with marketing over the last few years. Luke Martin is an absolute gem and produces top notch content and really makes you feel part of the program through his videos. Hulman Center looks great in broadcasts and in pictures (haven't been there in person yet) but overall we are finally looking the part of a D1 university.
