Recent Shalane Flanagan Interview

Those acquainted with Indiana State's track heritage know that Shalane Flanagan, Olympian and national collegiate track and cross country champion, is the daughter of Cheryl Pedlow, ISU alumnus and former women's world recordholder in the marathon. Cheryl is enshrined in the ISU Athletics Hall of Fame. Shalane, who went to high school in Marblehead, Mass. and competed for the University of North Carolina, won the first NCAA cross country champion held in Terre Haute. A talented sports photographer, Cheryl returns to Terre Haute annually for the NCAA meet.
