CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Indiana State baseball fell in its series opener at Southern Illinois, 3-2, Friday night at Itchy Jones Stadium. The loss puts the Sycamores at 22-20 overall and 4-9 in Missouri Valley Conference play. ISU also fell to 3-9 in one-run games this season.
