Thanks for the link to the picture! That is a beautiful little stadium. Of course the grass isn't that green yet, but it has been well-maintained. The field could turn very messy. I see we're scheduled to play a double-header Saturday which could prove very interesting. Of course the amount of rain could play a factor in the decision to possibly cancel a game or two. Looking at d1baseball.com last weekend there was a tourney in Peoria, AZ (just west of Phoenix) that had a whole day cancelled.

Thanks, WestT...another all grass field for the Saturday DH. I guess we'll just have to see how the fields play and how much precip is in the offering.

Please see latest weather update in the first entry in this thread above. Thunder and lightening could cause a concern for game one Friday afternoon.

Maybe they should come back to Terre Haute and play the tournament. We have an artificial field that could help.

I updated the weather information at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The update appears at the top of this thread. It's not baseball weather today. I'll keep an eye on what's happening. If anyone else hears anything, let us know.

Looks to me that unless they move somewhere with a good artificial turf, there is no way they can play today. If anyone hears anything...let us know!
